Should you trust review websites?...

Bear in Wall Street

If we didn't think the answer to this question was YES you wouldn't be on this website.

In saying that, the market is flooded with review sites, and for the most part, brokers pay for these reviews this is why it's been our mission to work with only the highest caliber brokers and instead of them approaching us, we go to them!

As industry experts, we realise how important it is to pick the right broker. It's often the first decision we make in our trading journey and it's critical to longevity and success.

There are three key factors we analyse when choosing a broker: they must be well-regulated, provide low cost and be a trusted broker amongst our community.

Regulation is vital in ensuring that the broker operates in a fair and transparent manner, protecting the interests of traders. Regulated brokers must comply with strict rules and regulations set by governing bodies such as the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in the US, and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) in Australia. This provides investors with the peace of mind that their cash is in safe hands, and they are less likely to fall victim to fraudulent activities.

Secondly, low-cost brokers can make a significant difference to the overall profitability of your trading. When choosing a broker, it is essential to consider the costs involved in trading, such as commissions, spreads, and fees. These costs can quickly add up, eating into your profits, so finding a broker with low trading costs is essential. With the rise of online brokers, there are now many options available, so take the time to shop around and find the best deal for you.

Finally, trust is a crucial factor when choosing a broker. You want to be sure that the broker you choose has a strong reputation and has been in business for a significant amount of time. Look for brokers that have a proven track record of delivering excellent service to their clients, with positive reviews from their client base. If something smells off, it probably is. You can also check whether the broker is a member of industry associations or has won any awards for their services.

By ensuring you are across the three elements above, you can have peace of mind that your funds and broker are putting your interests first, and you can focus on markets.

Remember to do your research and take your time to find the right broker for you or send us a message.
